Liquid Football Trophy 2017 Raises £523.19 for the Free Kicks Foundation

Profits from the Liquid Football Trophy 2017, on June 25th have been tallied, and total up to £523.19 – which will be donated to the Free Kicks Foundation.

Huge thanks to all of the sponsors; AWAYDAY GOLD, VISION SECURITY, DRT FIREPLACES, PANDORA’S BOX, HARRISON ROSE ESTATE AGENTS, ST IVES TOWN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME, GOOSE’S GARDEN, PREMIER LATE STORE, JAY FARMER KITCHENS & BATHROOMS – without the support of our sponsors, we would not have been able to host the event.

Also a huge thanks to those players who made donations on the day, and to IKEA, Peterborough who have also made a generous donation towards the event – you’ve all played your part in making this the most successful LFT to date. To say we struggled to get sponsorship this year, when compared to previous years, that’s a superb end-result.

We have now raised £1,180.19 for charities since starting the LFT less than two years ago. Not bad at all for a group of lads meeting up to have a kick about!

Once again, a massive pat on the back to everybody who was involved!

After the success of the LFT this year, we will be looking at the possibility of making next year’s tournament (end of July) even bigger; more pitches, more teams and (hopefully) even more money raised. But in order for us to do so, we will need more sponsors. If you know of anybody who may be interest, please get in contact!
