Tip of the Week

Since the inception of Liquid Football, the Tip of the Week has been given most weeks, with various different stakes. To date; there have been 0 bets won, and currently operating at a £130.00 loss. But that will all change, as this week’s tip will definitely come in:

Chelsea to beat Huddersfield. It’s yet another new era at Stamford Bridge, and their likely to get off to a winning start, whilst it was a miracle that The Terriers even made it to the Premier League in the first place, let alone stay up in the first season. They will probably struggle to stay up this year, and starting against Chelsea will prove to be too much.

Fulham and Crystal Palace to draw. Fulham have recruited very well for their first season back in the top flight. Whilst they should be able to stay up this year, they may take a while to gel. Still, Palace may not have enough in the tank to break them down. Stalemate.

Bournemouth to beat Cardiff. The Cherries continue their fish out of water run in the Premier League, and they have also recruited some decent players this season. Neil Warnock’s Cardiff will be happy with opening their campaign against Bournemouth, however they won’t be strong enough to fend off defeat.

Nottingham Forest to beat Reading. Forest were incredibly unlucky against West Brom in the week, and they were also by far the better side in the opener against Bristol City. Whilst Reading were also very unlucky to lose to Derby in the opening game, Forest’s eagerness to get the first win of the campaign should prove to be too much for Clement’s Royals.

West Brom to beat Norwich. After a slow start to the season, West Brom showed in the last few minutes against Forest that they’re still very dangerous. They’ll be determined to get their first win in the bag, and should defeat a Norwich side, who will likely have a very mediocre season.

Portsmouth to beat Blackpool. Two sides who have had turbulent times off the field in recent years. However, Pompey seem to be on the up, whilst Blackpool’s manager resigned after the first game of the season.
